Key conditions for vehicle inspections and car sourcing
Scope
The exact scope, search market, duration, included inspections, fee and travel costs are agreed before each assignment. Third-party services, including workshop diagnostics, transport, plates, insurance and registration services, are separate services and are contracted and charged directly by the respective authorised provider where required.
Nature of the assessment
The inspection is a non-destructive, point-in-time assessment of accessible parts and available information. It is not an official roadworthiness inspection, valuation certificate or guarantee of future condition.
Access and test drive
The inspection depends on the seller granting access to the vehicle, documents and, where agreed, a test drive. Restrictions imposed by the seller are documented and may limit the assessment.
Search and purchase decision
Market screening and recommendations are based on the agreed brief and information available at the time. The purchase contract and payment are concluded by the client directly with the seller. The final purchase decision remains with the client after considering the findings and any recommended specialist checks.
Appointments
Travel or expenses already incurred may be charged if an appointment is cancelled at short notice or the vehicle is unavailable at the agreed location.
